Well, it’s time to eat my words! I said in my last blog that I had enough social media for now. It took some persuasion and a lot of help from a good friend, but I finally agreed and I now have a TikTok account!
@eclectictalesofficial is new and currently only has a few reels, but I’m getting there. Come and take a look and Follow me. TownSecretsOriginals (see August’s blog) has been doing her creative thing and is not only creating reels for my books, but she has written a theme song for Eclectic Tales® too!
Don’t worry, I won’t be sitting back and letting her do all the hard work, I’m joining in as well. Admittedly, she’s a lot faster at content than me, but I will be creating content too and I can’t thank her enough.
With all this social media now, I’m discovering lots of art tutorials. I love art and whether it’s simple projects to make with children, or learning drawing and painting techniques I’ve always wondered about, it’s all now at my fingertips. Ok, I realise this content has been around for a long time, but Instagram and TikTok are still relatively new to me.
My Nan was an artist as you can see here, these are a handful of her beautiful paintings…
